Brand Story
Grandma’s is a jar full of homemade goodness, made with love for you and for the planet. My grandma, Jean Burgess, loved all the people in her life. She also loved the leftover veggies at the supermarket, the ones that weren’t quite right for the storefront. She would come home with all kinds of wonky, bruised fruit and veg and make the most delicious sauces and relishes for the family.
With vegetable waste being the highest of all food waste in New Zealand, Grandma Jean might have been onto something. Today, Grandma’s sources our vegetables from local supermarkets and grocers that would usually go to waste. Fully recyclable jars aim to reduce waste at the end of the product's life too.
